When Katie was diagnosed with breast cancer it not only interrupted her life, family and her career, but it changed her relationship with God. Since she accepted Jesus into her life at an early age, she had never been in a position where she had completely depended on her faith. Once cancer came into the picture Katie would be forced to discover things about herself and the God that she thought she knew. She uses her positive outlook on life along with her faith and humor to tell the story of how she relied on her relationship with God to get her through and ended up being thankful for her diagnosis. She hopes to help inspire others in whatever challenges life brings their way and to let them know they are never alone.
